All recordings and related data are stored in your personal iCloud storage. iCloud is private by default, which means your videos are only visible to you through your Apple devices. Homy applies AES-256 encryption to every recording before it syncs to iCloud, ensuring your footage remains secure whether it is viewed locally or from another Apple device you own.
Homy does not maintain its own storage servers, nor do we transmit your recordings to any third-party providers. Your data stays within the Apple ecosystem you already trust.
Homy requires camera access to function. This permission is used solely for recording purposes. All footage remains within your device and your private iCloud storage; it is never transmitted elsewhere or processed by Homy.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no information for us to share, sell, or process. You maintain complete control over your recordings whether they reside on your device or in iCloud. You can delete any recording directly within the Homy app, and the deletion will sync across your devices through iCloud.
While using Homy, you are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws regarding video recording and surveillance. Please ensure you have appropriate authorization before recording in any location.
